Kimberly Bentley was entertained at a baby shower on Saturday, November 8, in the fellowship hall at Danburg Baptist Church. Hostesses for the occasion were ladies of Danburg Baptist.

Mrs. Bentley was presented a corsage of daisies tied with light blue ribbon and accented with a baby chick wrist rattle.

As guests entered the fellowship hall, they were invited to sign the baby book registry placed at a table decorated with a Country Side Farm lamp, a pattern that will be used in the Bentley nursery.

The refreshment table, covered in white damask cloths with a puddling of sheer blue organza, featured a wicker baby carriage that held an arrangement of assorted lilies, daisies, blue delphinium, mums and blue iris. Guests enjoyed a delicious assortment of party foods that included cake squares decorated with blue baby booties, cheese straws, mixed fruits, pecan sandies, key lime cheese ball with animal crackers, toasted pecans, taco dip with chips, assorted tea cookies, cucumber sandwiches, roasted pepper and onion dip with crackers and punch. The punch bowl featured an ice ring that included baby toys and pacifiers.

Mrs. Bentley received a variety of baby gifts that were displayed by the hostesses on tables decorated with white cloths and sheer blue organza.

More that fifty guests attended. Special guests included the prospective grandmothers, Tracy Holder and Angie Bentley of Tignall; and prospective great-grandmothers, Ellie Nicholson of Lincolnton, Faye Vandiver of Eatonton, Elizabeth Denard and Mary Ann Bentley of Washington.
