Craig R. Amason, Executive Director of the Flannery O'Connor-Andalusia Foundation, Inc. of Milledgeville, was the guest speaker at the regular meeting of the Washington Kiwanis Club on Tuesday, December 2. Amason told members about the life of American novelist and short-story writer Flannery O'Connor (1925-1964) of Milledgeville who wrote two novels and 32 short stories. He also described her 544-acre ancestral farm - Andalusia - near Milledgeville which is open to the public. Lillie Crowe (right) was the program host for the day. Craig R.
