A popular stop at last week's Candlelight Shopping was the Wilkes County 4-H Dairy Show Team booth offering pictures taken with a Christmas calf. The calf was stationed in a well-lit manger next to the Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce, and volunteers took photos of kids (and adults) with the calf for a donation. The event was a successful fund-raiser for the Wilkes County 4-H club.
