Richard and Sharon DuBois Richard and Sharon DuBois of Crawfordville celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on Saturday, November 8, at a surprise reception held at Alexander H. Stephens State Park.

The reception was given by their children, Richard S. DuBois and wife, Sherry; Debra Harper and husband, Shane; Sherri Bailey and husband, John; and their six grandchildren.

A fall décor enhanced the reception area where guests enjoyed delicious food from Sticky Fingers.

The couple's anniversary cake was adorned with fall foliage to compliment the fall theme.

After dinner, the couple and their guests were treated to a power point presentation that highlighted the couple's life together. A favorite song, "Remember When", was played during the presentation.

Forty guests were invited. Two out-of-town guests from West Virginia, Robert DuBois and Harry LaPointe, brother and brother-inlaw of the honored couple, attended as well.
