TO THE EDITOR:

The Episcopal Church Women appreciate the support of our friends in the community and at The News- Reporter of our recent Bazaar and Luncheon.

It is a local tradition after all these years, and it is also a time when we enjoy working together. The fellowship is wonderful; amazingly, almost everyone in the church (we have a small congregation) has a part to play.

We also enjoy making money! All of the food and bazaar items are donated, and all the proceeds go to charities, local and national. We meet in January to distribute the funds, an occasion that makes it all worthwhile.

We are grateful that we live in this caring community. Thank you for your help, and have a blessed Christmas.
