The Optimist Club of Washington has begun its annual Christmas tree sale. Beautiful Fraser fir trees are available this year at the club's new location across the road from McDonald's at the Washington Ford Mercury used car sales lot.
Optimist Club member Kyle Brown made his annual pilgrimage to Cashiers, N.C., on Tuesday, November 25, to pick up 150 beautiful trees.
The Christmas trees range in height from 5 to 9 ½ ft. Hours for tree sales are 4-6 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday; and 2-5 p.m. Sunday.
Proceeds from the annual Christmas tree sale go to support the many youth programs which the local Optimist Club of Washington supports annually.
