We had a good time at the Christmas social at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Sunday evening. After delicious refreshments and a time of fellowship, we all went into the sanctuary and sang Christmas songs. ƒSamille and James Sherrer attended the Christmas luncheon at Tignall Baptist Church Tuesday. Before the delicious meal we were entertained by Stephanie Greene of Thomson, a beautiful lady with a beautiful voice. ƒVisiting Sue Davis Sunday were Faye and Bill Scoggins and their threemonth old granddaughter, Mary Rose Scoggins. They had lunch and supper with her ƒSamille and James Sherrer and Gail Darricott accompanied Joe Harris to Augusta Wednesday and attended the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council Holiday Luncheon and meeting held at the Boathouse on Riverfront Drive. All four of us received nice door prizes. ƒThe Christmas program held at Raytown Baptist Church Saturday night was wonderful and was enjoyed by approximately 180 people, the largest attendance ever. The dedicated members worked so hard and presented a beautiful cantata titled "The Heart of Christmas." The church and fellowship hall were decorated so pretty. A reception was held following the service and the food was delicious. ƒCharlie Branham spent Saturday night with Benjamin Hodges. They enjoyed seeing a movie in Thomson.

ƒWhitney Branham spent Saturday night with Jessica Wright. They went with the youth group of Victory Baptist Church to see the "Lights of the South," an annual event at Grovetown. ƒWhitney and Charlie Branham were among the youth group of Tignall Baptist Church who enjoyed a Christmas party at the home of Jackie and Ben Long Sunday night. ƒA good Christmas gift is the presence of a happy family all wrapped up with one another. The love and time you spent with family is far more important than how much you spend.
