Thomas and Gladys Roth were hosts for an early family Christmas celebration at their home Sunday, December 7.

The early celebration was held because their grandson and family, Craig and Stangella Roth, Brittany, Makayla and C.J., would be leaving in the next few days for Germany where he will be stationed for the next several years with the United States Air Force.

The home was festively decorated for the holidays with the focal point being the Christmas tree.

The Roths prepared a bountiful holiday dinner for their children and grandchildren.

Celebrating with them were children and grandchildren, Tommy and Angie Roth, Lori Tucker, Jake and Kolbi, Darrell and Sonya Roth, Betsy and Bonnie, all of Washington, Craig and Stangella Roth, Brittany, Makayla and C. J., and newlyweds, Jeffrey and Alyssa Roth, of Salisbury, N. C.
