Paul C. Lewis celebrates 90th birthday Dec. 5

Paul C. Lewis, former Washington resident, celebrated his 90th birthday on Friday, December 5, with a luncheon hosted by Gulf Oil Corporation retirees at Ryan's in Charleston, S.C.

His daughters, Pam Lewis Chesney of Charleston and Patricia Laree Lewis of Welcome, Tex., were hostesses at a party on Saturday, also in Charleston, with 35 guests that included his sister, Laree Lewis Boykin of Merritt Island, Fla.; brother, Donald Addison Lewis of Tampa, Fla.; nephew, Jimmy Shipp and wife, Nancy, of Covington; and niece, Diane Lewis Brothers of Hoschton.

Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner of barbecue, hash with rice, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans and a huge cream cheese filled and iced birthday cake decorated with red and black balloons and topped with 90 candles.
