Have you ever had to take a gift back because the gift just wasn't working out? Well, that's what Celeste Adams had to do. She gave her daughter Amanda a Chihuahua for Christmas and the little dog tried to cut his teeth on little Abby. Well that didn't work out so now Celeste sits with that little dog in her lap. She has a new pet. .Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Keener over the holidays were Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Hines of Winterville; Butler Barron of Conyers; and Mr. and Mrs. Chris Keener, Madison and NOlan of Loganville. His wife Peggy had help from Henry to pull off this surprise. Jimmy thought this was Henry's usual Chinese Christmas and found out it was for him. Now, if Jimmy doesn'tacths age,it'sbecausehe had the advantage over most of us who grew up with him. He didn't grow up until he was in the Navy. I remember Jimmy having to sit on top of his books to drive to school so he could see over the steering wheel. If anyone ever got in trouble in school, Jimmy was always blamed for causing the trouble even though he looked very innocent! I shouldn't tell him this because I can see his head swell now. One young lady (I think she was at his party) said she thought Jimmy was about 40 years old. .Another birthday was Dave Derrick's on December 29.
