Margaret Darden

Funeral services for Margaret Darden, 87, of Taliaferro County were held Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at the PurificationCatholic Church in Sharon with Father Chris Williamson officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. She died Friday, December 21, at Harper's Personal Care Home in Washington.

Miss Darden was a native of Taliaferro County and had lived there most of her life. She was a homemaker, and was the daughter of the late George B. Darden and Leona Pate Darden. She was a member of the Sharon PurificationCatholic Church.

Survivors include a brother, Patrick Darden of Sharon; and two sisters, Catherine Edwards Hopkins of Washington and Belle Frances Darden of Decatur.

Pallbearers included Jack Orr, Robert Edwards, Albert Valdez, Jerry Harris, John Henderson, and Lloyd Kelley.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
