LaNelle Armour Chafin A memorial service for LaNelle Armour Chafin,65, of Crawford, will be held Sunday, January 13, 2008, at 3 p.m., at Burt's United Methodist Church in Oglethorpe County with Rev. Reginald Hunter and Chaplain Bill Hayes officiating. She died January 6 at St. Mary's Hospital House. Mrs. Chafin was a native of Wilkes County and was the daughter of the late Vernon A. Armour and Willie Mae Hubbard Armour. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Chafin Cofer of Carlton; a son, Dave Chafin, Athens; three sisters, Dot A. Moore, Mae Lou A. Pasnick, and Kathleen Armour; and two brothers, Henry Armour and Horace Armour.
Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
