Lindsey Shay Hitchcock to wed Cary Edward Callaway April 19

Lindsey Shay Hitchcock Cary Edward Callaway

Dr. and Mrs. Patrick L. Hitchcock of Lavonia announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Shay, to Cary Edward Callaway, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Callaway of Washington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. John Cofer and the late Mr. Cofer of Jonesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd H. Hitchcock of Comer.

She holds a BSA in Animal and Dairy Science from the University of Georgia in Athens. Miss Hitchcock is employed by FPL Foods, Inc. LLC in Augusta.

Mr. Callaway is the grandson of Mrs. Herbert Callaway and the late Mr. Callaway and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Freeman of Washington.

He is also a graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens where he earned a BSA in Turf Grass Management. Mr. Callaway is em- ployed by Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 19, at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Washington.
