Jessica Coxwell guest of honor at Christmas brunch, shower Jessica Coxwell, bride-elect of Herchell Evans of Dacula, was feted at a Christmas brunch and shower on Saturday, December 29, at the Georgia Baptist Association Mission Center. Hostesses for the occasion were Mrs. Steve Albertson, Mrs. Kyle Bearse, Mrs. Ben Bell, Mrs. Richard Gammon, Mrs. Eric Holton, Mrs. Kenneth Lindsey and Mrs. Ira Tiller. In honor of the occasion Miss Coxwell was presented a corsage of white button chrysanthemums and greenery tied with red ribbon. As guests arrived, they registered at a table overlaid in red and decorated with an arrangement of holly and pine topped with snowmen all on a wooden base. Army-Navy cloths covered the food table and gift table. An elongated holiday arrangement with pine, holly and three tall gold candles decorated the food table from which guests enjoyed breakfast casserole, miniature cinnamon rolls, fruit, orange juice and coffee. A white wicker chair flanked by red poinsettias provided the setting where Miss Coxwell opened her gifts. The holiday arrangements on the register table and food table were presented to the bride-elect by her hostesses. Miss Coxwell presented each hostess a Christmas cream and sugar.
Forty-three guests attended. Among the guests attending were the bride-elect's mother, Mrs. Dan Coxwell, and sister, Mrs. Jack Leard III, both of Washington; grandmothers, Mrs. Douthit Moon of Canon and Mrs. Lewis Coxwell of Warrenton; and aunts, Mrs. Dennis Coxwell of Warrenton; Mrs. Joe Ballenger of Canon; and Rosemary Jackson of Athens; the prospective bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Danny Edwards of Lexington; also a friend, Amy Terrell of New York.
