Visiting during the holidays with Wayne and Nancy Madden were their son and his family, Kevin and Alicia Madden, Noah and Taylor, of West Bank, British Columbia, Canada; and their daughter and her family, Carol and Frank Souther, Will and Leslie. The Maddens treated their children to a holiday cruise to Nassau aboard Royal Caribbean's Sovereign of the Seas December 16-21. Joining the Madden family for the cruise were Mrs. Madden's sister and family from Elberton. lHoliday guests of Bill and Jackie Gillispie and son Steve Gillispie were Steve's daughters, Madison and Kaitlyn, of Cocoa, Fla.; also, Charles and Donna Gillispie of Interlachen, Fla.; Tom and Jill Dobson and Debbie DeBard of Titusville, Fla. lMrs. David Blackburn enjoyed the Christmas holidays with her son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blackburn, Liza and Sarah, in Richmond, Va.; and the New Year holiday in Atlanta with her son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Blackburn, Isabel and Emily. lRev. and Mrs. Chris Townsend, Garston and Henry, joined Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Townsend at their lake home in Dawsonville during the holidays. lMr. and Mrs. David McClearen joined other family members in celebrating the New Year holiday in Gatlinburg, Tenn. lCelebrating an early Christmas on December 22 with Lamont and Cathy Lannae in Washington were John and Amy Broadnax of Athens; Russell and Beth Rainey of Augusta; and Ben and Robin Shackleford, Isabel, Ben Jr. and John, of Atlanta. The Lannaes were guests in the Shackleford home on Christmas Eve and Day and then celebrated the New Year holiday with friends at St. Simons Island. lSteve and Eleanor Blackmon enjoyed a Christmas holiday stay with Myra Blackmon and Tom Holland in Athens. Other guests were Kimberly Bolton, Zachery and Trevor, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Rich and Sarah Johnson and Amelia of Athens. The Blackmons returned to Athens on a later occasion to celebrate great-granddaughter Amelia's first birthday. After Christmas they visited in Columbus with Phillip and Carol Blackmon, Leah and Bradley, and joined in celebrating birthdays of Carol and Leah Blackmon. lLewis and Ann Cook and Sandra Denard, Doug and Kyle, celebrated the holidays in Atlantic Beach, Fla., with John and Susan Whittingslow and Cathryn and Taylor Curington, returning to Washington on Christmas Eve. lHoliday guests of Mabel Johnson were Bob and Carole Murphy of Bishop, Suzanne Oliver of Roswell, Nathan and Cindy Murphy, Zach, Reagan and Nate, of Watkinsville, Johnny and Lynda Gresham, Rhonda and Kay Lynn Gresham, Joe Bednarek, and Will and Lynn Johns, Ashlyn, Morgan, Camryn and Jaklyn, of Marietta, Mark and Julie Laudicina, Wyatt and Savannah, of Hanover, Pa., and Mark and Emilie Waters and Arvid Johnson of Washington.
