Lunceford deserving of honor bestowed by Little Theater Co.

May I add my pleasure in hearing of the decision to rename the Washington theater in honor of Bolton Lunceford. I had the privilege of meeting Mel and Bolton when they came to Warren County as educators. He and I were at the Norwood School as teachers. The students were shocked when Mel measured their essay margins with a ruler to insure a one inch margin.

Bolton was at the high school teaching my son Latin. They both were just bigger than life in their approach to life and learning.

Congratulations, Bolton. Well done faithful servant.
