Coe advances to state competition
Ian Coe (center), a senior at Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School, placed first in the Voice of Democracy audio essay compeition in the tenth district and will advance to the state competition. The contest is sponsored by the VFW. Post 5899 of Washington presented Ian $150. He is the son of Dr. Stan Coe and Dr. Elizabeth Coe of Washington.
