I visited my parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wallace in Lincoln County, several times last week. On Saturday I visited patients at Wills Memorial Hospital. .Mr. and Mrs. Brian Gay, Loren and Conner of Brandon, Fla., visited Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Gay during Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Clark of Lakeland, Fla., spent several days with the Gays during the New Year holidays. .Miss Betty Moore of Washington spent Sunday morning with her sister, Mrs. Barbara Adams. Later they enjoyed dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Steed in Washington. .Linda Standard and Sarah Huff spent Thursday in Augusta. .Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Ryll, Connor and Calley spent last Sunday with Mrs. Lucille Ingram. .Blake Amis spent the weekend with Roy Chesnut. .Richard and Brenda Phillips spent Saturday in Augusta. .Peyton Standard of Lexington, S.C., spent Saturday and Sunday with his grandparents, Linda and Keith Standard. .Cassie Goldman, Mitch and Bryson Taylor visited Randy Goldman Sunday in Lincoln County. .Trudy Ingram spent some time with Mrs. Betty Crawford last week in Appling. .Russell Goldman of Doraville spent last Sunday, January 6, with his mother, Sarah Huff. .Kinsey and Mallory Holt of Martinez spent the weekend with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Dunnawy. Their parents, Kevin and Allyson Holt, along with Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Holt and boys and Mr. and Mrs. Wade Dunnaway enjoyed supper with Mr. and Mrs. Dunnaway Sunday night. They enjoyed celebrating Kinsey's fifth birthday. .Our visitors have been our children, Shannon Thomason and Burt Newsome. .We had a real nice service at Ebenezer Baptist Church Sunday. Newton and Pam Gunter placed flowers in the church which added to the service. The children's story was "Noah Obeyed God" by Dr. Dupree. The message for the adults was "Are We Obediently Contagious?" or "Ebenezer and Obedience." January 20 will be Baptist Men's Day. Bill Fair will be our speaker. If you do not have a church home come out and visit at Ebenezer. All visitors are welcomed. .Sincere sympathy to all who recently lost loved ones.
