RAYLE NEWS
By Bonnie Boatwright Call 274-3264

Our community was shocked and saddened Wednesday morning as we learned of the death of Alexander Boatwright. Many attended visitation Saturday evening at Hopkins Funereal Home in Washington. Rev. Jim Newsome brought a very comforting sermon to the large crowd who came for the service and burial at Sardis Baptist Church Sunday afternoon. Alexander will long be remembered for his friendly personality. He loved to entertain by telling stories and with his magic tricks. His father, Alex, his sister, Amy, grandmothers, Wilda Boatwright and Mildred Inez Phillips, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the ones close as family, have our deepest, heartfelt sympathy. Alexander was only 35 years old.
