Caroline Gentry treated to bowling birthday party

Caroline Gentry, daughter of John and Katherine Gentry of Athens, celebrated her sixth birthday on Saturday, January 12, with a bowling and puppy party in Athens.

Caroline, her parents, sister, Anna; grandparents, Edward and Susan Pope; uncle, aunt and cousin, Ed, Susan and Wesley Pope, all of Washington, and special friend, Sydney Dunn of Watkinsville, gathered at Showtime Bowling in Athens for an afternoon of fun.

After bowling all went to Caroline's home where they celebrated with a birthday supper of hot dogs, chili, pasta salad, baked beans, and chips. The party table was covered with a "wipe your paws" party cloth and decorated with other matching accessories. Caroline's chocolate chip cookie cake was topped with a puppy and six colorful star candles.

Party favors were theme cups each filled with goodies and a Beanie Baby puppy.

Joining the group for supper were Glenn and Teresa Coleman of Watkinsville.
