April Smith, Jonathan Wheatley to marry May 3 at Peacock Hill

Mike and Tonya Smith of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, April, to Jonathan Wheatley, son of Jimmy and Elaine Wheatley of Washington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Tommy and Sara Jackson and Carolyn Smith and the late William S. "Bill" Smith of Washington.

She is a l999 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 2004 graduate of Athens Technical College. Miss Smith is employed by Fievet Pharmacy of Washington.

Mr. Wheatley is the grandson of Manuel Wheatley and the late Linda Wheatley of Washington and the late Ethel Floyd of Comer.

He is a 2004 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and is employed by JEBCO Services of Washington.

The wedding is planned for May 3 at Peacock Hill in Washington.
