W-WHS Class of '60 enjoys luncheon at McPherson home

The home of Mary Turpin McPherson on Thomson Road was the scene of the quarterly luncheon of the ladies of Washington-Wilkes High School Class of l959-60.

Each brought a covered dish to complement the menu of ham, salads and dessert.

A time of fellowship and remembering was enjoyed.

Present with Mrs. McPherson were Linda Cason Threlkeld of Homer; Mae Delle Wolfe Huff of Athens; Charlene Scott Street of Augusta; Fran Biggers Thaxton of Rayle; Shirley Gunter Crook of Lincolnton; Joyce Lankford Holloway, Linda Turpin Standard and Mary Will Bradley Denard of Washington
