Wrestlers finish sixth at Area 2AA Team Duals

JOSH COSBY SUBDUES HIS OPPONENT He posted wins over Oglethorpe County, Jeff Davis, and AAAA powerhouse Clarke Central.
The Washington-Wilkes Tiger wrestling team defeated Jeff Davis County but fell to eventual runnerup Toombs County at the Area 2AA Team Duals held last weekend at Toombs County. Based on scoring criteria, the Tigers finished sixth out of 17 teams.

The Tigers traveled to Jackson High School on Tuesday, January 15, to take on Jackson and Warner Robins but results were unavailable for this edition. W-W will be at home again on Tuesday, January 22, for a quad meet with Morgan County, Elbert County, and Athens Christian beginning at 5 p.m.
Ryen Scarboro takes control and moves toward winning his match. He had two pins in recent matches.
