The Washington-Wilkes Middle School wrestling team completed its 2008 season with a combination match against Oglethorpe County and Greenbrier in which the Tigers won 14 of 17 matches for a combined team score of 68-13.

Individual results for the middle school team were: Dennis Hagan 2-1; David Martin 3-0; Tyrell Norman 1-1; Alex Hackney 1-1; Andrew White 2-0; Terrence Walton 2-0; and Drew Bradford 2-0.

Prior to the Middle School match, USA wrestlers Jack Martin, Ethan Ramos, Paden McTier, and Austin Hackney scored wins in exhibition matches. Middle School wrestlers David Martin and Will Lawson finished the season undefeated.
