Marie Walton Bradley

Funeral services for Marie Walton Bradley, 93, of Tignall, were held Friday, January 18, 2008, in the Tignall Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Fincher officiating. Interment was in the Tignall Cemetery. She died Tuesday, January 15, in Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

Mrs. Bradley was a native of Wilkes County and was the daughter of the late Henry Oscar Walton and Julia Pullen Walton. She had retired from Royal Manufacturing Co. and was a member of the Tignall Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.

Survivors include her son and daughters-in-law, Sam and Florence Bradley of Washington, and Judy Bradley of Lincolnton; a brother, Thomas Walton of Sparta; nine grandchildren, Dwayne Bradley, Debbie Brown, Phyllis Usry, Dawn Perry, Chuck Gabriel, Todd Bradley, Robby Bradley, Missy Griffith, and Deedra Kilburn; and 14 greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers included Chuck Gabriel, Jimmy Walton, Keith Perry, Hugh Walton, Kason Bradley, Bradley Smith, Jeremy Kilburn, Joey Brown, and Dusty Brown.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tignall Baptist Church Building Fund.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
