Amelia Johnson honored at first birthday party

Amelia Hope Johnson, daughter of Rich and Sarah Johnson of Athens, was honored on her first birthday at a party at the home of her paternal grandparents, Myra Blackmon and Tom Holland in Athens, on December 26.

Amelia was dressed in a pink silk dress adorned with a pink satin belt and bow and her first Mary Jane slippers. She also wore a crown proclaiming her the princess of the day.

The dining room and table were festive with streamers.

Her cake was in the shape of a multi-colored butterfly and was Amelia's first taste of something sweet.

Enjoying the day with Amelia, her parents, and hosts were her maternal grandparents, Bob and Bert Seay of St. Louis, Mo.; paternal greatgrandparents, Steve and Eleanor Blackmon of Washington; aunt and cousins, Kimberly Bolton, Zack and Trevor, of Jacksonville, S.C.
