Kathryn Melissa Grant Ryan Michael Warren

Mr. and Mrs. William Forrest Grant Jr. of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Melissa, to Ryan Michael Warren of Stephenville, Tex., son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Stuart Warren, also of Stephenville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Thomas A. Seymour and the late Mr. Seymour of Bowman and Mrs. William Forrest Grant and the late Judge Grant of Elberton.

She is a 2002 honor graduate of Jackson High School in Jackson and a 2006 cum laude graduate of North Georgia College and State University in Dahlonega where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education. Miss Grant is a former president of Alpha Gamma Delta women's fraternity. She is currently employed by LifeWay Christian Resources as a program specialist for FUGE Camps.

Mr. Warren is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Warren of Mesa, Ariz.

He is a 2005 graduate of Stephenville High School in Stephenville and attended the University of Central Oklahoma for two years where he was a member of the Broncho baseball team. Mr. Warren is currently pursuing a degree in English from Weatherford College in Weatherford, Texas, as well as serving as an evangelist, teaching at churches throughout the southeast.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 26, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Elberton.
