Wilkes poll workers appreciate thoughtful actions on election day

TO THE EDITOR:

On Super Tuesday I was working on the District 1 poll along with Carolyn Harper, Vivian Evans, and Travis Armour.

About 12:30, a lady who had voted earlier in the morning came in with four meals from the Sandwich Shop for the four poll workers.

I have helped with the polls many times in the past, but have never had this to happen before.

I want to publicly thank this kind lady who I am sure would not want her name revealed, but Lois Poss is her name.
