Tears are a language
By GARY TOOLE
Throughout the Bible it tells us that so many times God saw and heard the tears of people who were going through so many things.

We as humans can understand seeing tears but not hearing them. We know that animals can hear a thousand times better than we can so why would anyone be puzzled at the fact that God the Creator can hear tears and even greater than that, he can interpret them.

He can understand what they mean and what they are saying. Tears truly are a language God understands. Folks shed tears for so many reasons. Some cry because of sorrow; some cry because of pain. Some cry because of disappointment, some because of mental anguish and stress. Some cry because of spiritual

conviction, some even cry because they are angry; and some can even make themselves cry.

They said that one woman would cry at the drop of

your hat. The

prophet Jeremiah was called the weeping prophet. Some say that men are not supposed to cry. Well, if you get in enough pain, you will cry and everything else. On a television commercial it shows a bunch of grown men crying and it says, "It's okay to cry! It might make you feel better." So, in fact, even human beings can understand tears to a certain extent, but God knows it all. Amen!

God still sees, hears, and understands our tears. One time, my uncles came to see my father on a Sunday to hear him preach and after the service my dad asked them all to come up to the front and as they stood there, tears were just flowing down my Uncle Pick's face. It was tears of conviction. God was dealing with him right then. Knocking at his heart's door.

When I was just a boy, this brother at our home church could hardly say anything when he would testify but he would weep and shed tears and I realized even then that God understood his tears. This man in the Bible said with tears, "Lord, I believe. Help thou my unbelief."

We know that God hears and understands tears and He answers our tears just like He does our prayers. The Bible lets us know that even when we can't pray, then the Holy Spirit will pray for us. I know that to be a fact because when I thought that my wife was going to die one time, I could not pray, but the Holy Ghost took over and prayed for me.

God is good! Will you say amen?
