Frank Wilson

Funeral services for Frank Wilson, 79, of Washington were held Sunday, February 3, 2008, at the Booker's Chapel Baptist Church with Bishop L. Dante Smith officiating. Interment was in City West Cemetery with military honors. He died Thursday, January 30, at the Veterans Administration Hospital, in Augusta.

Mr. Wilson was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of the late Sam and Suzie Wilson. He served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Maeozie Booker Wilson; fivedaughters, Geraldine Savoy, Mary Agnes Norman, Frankie Webb, Betty Barnes, and Gloria Jean Langford; an adopted son, Willie Davis; and a host of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers included Carlos Mitchell, Brandon Smith, Randolph Wilkerson, Rodney Wilson, Brandon Wyatt, Bryan Wyatt, and Malcolm Wyatt.

Davenport-McLendon Mortuary Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
