Bessie Wyl Ivey Lamb

Funeral services for Bessie Wyl Ivey Lamb, 87, were held Friday, February 15, 2008, at the Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church, Kite, Ga., with Rev. Ron Hankal officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. She died Tuesday, February 12, at the Heartland Hospice House, Augusta.

Mrs. Lamb was born in Johnson County and was the daughter of the late George and Allie Belle Ivey. She had retired as supervisor from the Murray Biscuit Company and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Martinez.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Andrew Grimaud, Washington, and Runnette and Jackie Smith, Harlem; a brother, George N. Ivey Jr., Kite; fivegrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-greatgrandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Columbia County Humane Society, P.O. Box 204771, Martinez, GA 30907.

Nephews served as pallbearers. Starling Funeral Home of Harlem was in charge of arrangements.
