Sydney McClain celebrates third birthday Jan. 31

Sydney Lynn McClain, daughter of Terry McClain and the late Eydee Turner McClain of Washington, was three years old on January 31 and celebrated on several occasions with family and friends.

Sydney was treated to a Little Mermaid party at the home of her grandmother, Jane Anderson in Washington.

Her Little Mermaid cake was made by Karen Saggus. Other party foods included sandwiches, chips, drinks, and cupcakes, iced and decorated by the children.

Guests enjoyed pony rides, golf cart rides through the woods, swinging, and other outdoor fun.

Celebrating with Sydney, her daddy and grandmother, Mrs. Anderson, were her grandfather, Glenn Mc- Clain of Washington; grandmother, Diane Chasteen, great-grandmother, Juanita Johnson, uncle and aunt, David and Samantha Hachette, all of Anderson, S.C.; cousin, Rebecca Settlemeyre of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; Pee Wee and Cathy Armour, Gene and Linda Anthony, Lynn Acree, Marty and Georgia Echols, Denise Davis, Shaun and Aubrey Cox, Brent, Maci, Maggie and Janie Lynn Marxsen, Katie McKellar, Heather, Brock and Camden Hammond, Mark, Angie, Laney and Jackson Thornton, Chad, Felicia and Mason Thornton and Benji, Lisa and Juli Grimaud.

Sydney's guests were presented cowboy hats and Little Mermaid goody bags as they left the party.
