W-W Little League registration will continue through March 4

Registration for the Washington- Wilkes Little League 2008 program has begun and will continue through Saturday, March 4.

The program is for boys and girls baseball and also includes girls softball. The boys and girls baseball ages are 5 through 15 years old and girls softball is 9 through 16 years old.

Participants may register at the Ashley Park officeThursdays and Fridays from 4:30 until 7 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Payment is due with registration.

The fee for all ages is $35.00. There will be late registration Thursday and Friday, March 6-7. There will be a late charge of $10 for each child.

Tryouts are set for Saturday, March 8. Minor League baseball tryouts, ages 9-10, will be from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on field 1; and girls softball, ages 9-12 tryouts will be 10 a.m.-12 p.m., on field 2.

The Major League baseball tryouts for ages 11 and 12 will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on field 2; and Senior Girls Softball, ages 13-16, will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m., on field 2.
