Many people in our community are sick with the fluor other illnesses. The weather is so changeable and we never know what to expect. The wind has been keeping me in more than anything. I saw on the TV where the flushot does not cover one strain of fluthat is going around. Many have it rough and it lingers on and on. .Kimberly Rogers will open her beauty shop -- Salon 78 -- Saturday, March 1. It will be in the location that was formerly "Mari Ann's." .I was glad to get back to my church at Sardis Baptist Sunday morning after being out a month with the flu.My week will be much better I know because I have missed going. The attendance was off a good bit, but we had a good service. Rev. Jim Newsome spoke on "Practice Makes Perfect." As he started off he added, "Be careful what you practice." It was a very interesting and inspiring sermon. He had given the children's sermon at the altar and then Monica Gunter went to the annex with them for children's church. He will be greatly missed by his family and a large host of friends. .
