Kelvin Kuwann Thomas

Funeral services for Kelvin Kuwann Thomas, 29, were held Saturday, February 23, 2008, at the Springfield Baptist Church, Washington, with Pastor Norman Williams officiating. Rev. Charles Lacey was the eulogist. Interment was in City West Cemetery, Washington. He died February 18.

Mr. Thomas was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of Fred and Lizzie Thomas. He was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to his parents, Fred and Lizzie Thomas, include a daughter, Jamille Ferrell; two sisters, Merry Norman and Lynn Thomas; and a brother, Fredrick Thomas.

Pallbearers included Greg Barnes, Fredrick Porter, Jamie Danner, Meyon Shank, Hishema Shank, and Howard Evans Jr.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
