Kaylee Grimaud celebrates first birthday Feb. 23

Kaylee Alyssa Grimaud, daughter of IV and Genna Grimaud of Washington, was one year old on February 23.

Kaylee was treated to a One Special Girl party at her home on the afternoon of her birthday and chose for her party a special "Baby's 1st Birthday" outfit given to her by her grandparents, Pete and Louise Grimaud.

Family members joined Kaylee in the basement of her house which was festively decorated with matching party tablecloths, balloons, and a large birthday banner.

Kaylee had her own cake decorated with a big "1" in addition to a matching one for family, both made by Karen Saggus. Other party foods included ice cream, chips and dip, éclairs, chicken wings, deli swirls, assorted candies and drinks. After refreshments guests enjoyed watching Kaylee open gifts.

Celebrating with Kaylee and her parents were her grandparents, Linda and Clint Albea and Louise and Pete Grimaud, all of Washington, and Vicky Grimaud of Kernersville, N.C.; great-grandparents Agnes and Simon Bridges of Washington, George and Martha Jean Grimaud of Tignall and Mildred Hamilton of Winder; other family members, Sandee, Tommy, Allison and Jessica Bridges, Lauren and David Bridges, Tricia and Don Bridges, Donna Hardy, Monica and Emily Hardy, Andrea, Rob, Hannah and Ben Strother, and Josh Grimaud, all of Washington, Benjie, Lisa and Juli Grimaud of Tignall, Tommy and Corrie Hamilton and Charles Hardy of Winder, Phyllis Reese of Grovetown, Deirdre and Hunter Tapley of Harlem and William Shelley of Kernersville, N.C.

The younger guests were presented candy bags as they left the party.
