Kimberly Jean Bufford weds Matthew Eric Takara Feb. 6

Kimberly Jean Bufford and Matthew Eric Takara of Minot, N. Dak., were united in marriage on Wednesday, February 6, at onethirty o'clock in the afternoon at the Minot Municipal Court House in Minot by Judge Rasmuson.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bufford of Grovetown, formerly of Washington. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Buford Jr. of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Partridge of Dearing and the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Datez Turmon and the late Paul Turmon of Washington.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Takara of San Diego, Calif.

Both the bride and bridegroom serve in the United States Air Force at Minot Air Force Base in Minot and hold the rank of Airman First Class.

Standing with them at the ceremony were friends, Nathan Hawkes and Leah Tippits, both Minot.

Of special sentiment to the bride is the wedding set she now wears belonged to her great-grandmother, Datez Turmon of Washington.

The couple is at home at 2805 7th Street SW No. D, Minot, N. Dak., 58705.
