Whitney James guest of honor at miscellaneous shower Feb. 23

Whitney James, bride-elect of Jacob Richards of Lincolnton, was entertained at a family miscellaneous shower on Saturday, February 23, at Fountainhead Clubhouse in Augusta. Hostesses were her aunts, Karen Hammond and Brenda Doyle, and cousin, Mandy Doyle, all of Augusta.

For the occasion Miss James chose black slacks topped with a silver-accented black top.

Arrangements on the tables included bouquets of red and pink gerbera daisies and another of purple and white miniature daisies.

Delicious party foods and punch were served.

The hostesses presented Miss James a wedding guest book and pen.

Guests included the bride-elect's mother, Patti James, and sister, Hailey, of Washington; her grandmother, Charlotte Schulte and step-grandmother, Yancy Paschall, of Augusta; aunt, Ida Newman of Hephzibah; cousins, Lori James of Hephzibah and Amy Murphy of Augusta; the prospective bridegroom's grandmother, Mary Richards of Augusta; his sisters and nieces, Taffy Ivey, Jordan and Hailey, and Naomi Danner, Courtney and Sadie, of Lincolnton.
