McCormick Lions set golf tourney at Hickory Knob

The McCormick County Lions Club will hold its annual golf tournament on Tuesday, April 15, at Hickory Knob State Park.

The format will be Captain's Choice/Shotgun Start at 1 p.m. with lots of tournament and raffle prizes for red, white, and gold tee players. You might win a free vacation for two; or a 2008 Dodge Dakota Quad-Cab truck with a hole-in-one on designated holes.

The $60 per person entry fee includes drinks and a steak cookout at The Barn following play. Non-players are invited to attend the cookout at a cost of $15 per person.

All proceeds from this event will enable the Lions Club to continue their vital services which include conducting bi-monthly eye clinics, providing glasses for the needy, supporting the Leader Dog for the Blind Program, and the Storm Eye Research Institute, and aiding several local charities in their work.
