Representatives attend Ga. Chamber breakfast
Three Washington-Wilkes representatives attended the annual Georgia Chamber of Commerce Breakfast held at the Georgia Freight Depot in Atlanta. Blake Thomson and Ashley Barnett represented the Washington- Wilkes Chamber of Commerce and Janie Cravens represented the Georgia McDonald's Owners/Operators Association. Chamber Chairman Charles Tarbutton welcomed business leaders from across the state and introduced Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle as the keynote speaker. Lt. Gov. Cagle serves as chair of the Tour de Georgia and spoke about the event as well as other plans for transportation and education in the state.
