Bride-elect April Smith honored at photo frame, album shower

The home of Anissa Marxsen was the scene of a photo frame and album shower honoring bride-elect April Smith on Sunday, March 2. Tracy McAvoy joined Mrs. Marxsen in entertaining.

Miss Smith, whose marriage to Jonathan Wheatley will be an event of May 3, was attired in a turquoise, brown and orange blouse over dressy jeans.

Tin buckets of planted red gerbera daisies were used in decorating and were later presented to the brideelect for her flower garden at her new home.

From the table guests enjoyed broccoli salad, pasta salad, a bread bowl filled with spinach dip, fresh fruit, nuts, peppermints, strawberry and whipped cream trifle,punch and assorted beverages.

Thirty guests were invited. Special guests attending were the brideelect's mother and sister, Tanya Smith and Anna; grandmothers, Sara Jackson and Carolyn Smith, all of Washington; and the prospective bridegroom's mother, Elaine Wheatley of Metasville.
