Baptist women enjoy 'Let Your Light Shine' night out The Tignall Baptist Women's Ministry, with the assistance of the ladies of Mallorysville Baptist Church, presented a night out with the theme of "Let Your Light Shine." What an elegant and delicious meal prepared by Pat Bobo with the help of Billie Ann Smith, Fay Lamar, and Ann Harrison, and the beautiful decorations done by Carol McTier with the help of Kay Fincher. The Family Life Center was lit with candles and twinkle lights. Carol McTier sang "Shine the Light" and "Go Light Your World." She has so much talent with decorating and with her voice. Kay Fincher welcomed everyone and made announcements. The Mallorysville ladies gave out the door prizes. Kris Berry led all the ladies in singing "Pass It On." How proud the ladies were of the 10 Tignall Baptist men who were the servers for the dinner. They must have had lots of training at home. The guest speaker, Nancy Burgess, came all the way from Tucker in that storm. She said she felt like she had gone over the river and through the woods to Kay Fincher's house where she had gone through hail, tornadoes, and rain to get to Tignall. Everyone really enjoyed her presentation of "Let Your Light Shine." All lights went out except one candle, and then each lady passed on the light with her individual candle. Kathy Poss closed with prayer then everyone was dismissed to "Go let your light shine" on others in need.
Everyone appreciated Kay Fincher making this night possible. There were 75 ladies present.
