Leona Strickland Hudson
A graveside memorial service for Leona Strickland Hudson, 88, of Valdosta was held Monday, March 20, 2008, at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Valdosta with Rev. Peter Ingeman officiating. She died Thursday, March 6, at South Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. Hudson was the daughter of the late William Roberts Strickland and Rosa Hill Strickland. Her family lived in Washington at one time and she graduated from Washington High School in 1937. She was the widow of Lt. Dugald Walker Hudson. She moved back to Valdosta in 2006 after she and her husband had lived in Atlanta for 48 years. He died in 2006.
Mrs. Hudson was a relative of the late Charles Irvin of Washington- Wilkes.
