W-W FBLA named Gold Chapter at State Leadership Conference
To achieve the Gold designation, the chapter had to complete community service and school service projects; hold professional business meetings; increase chapter membership; compete at the region, state, and national level; attend leadership conferences; participate in National FBLA Week activities; and complete many other state and national programs.
At the Awards Ceremony, the chapter was recognized for the Georgia and National Award. Georgia FBLA is not divided into divisions according to the size of the school. So, WW FBLA members were thrilled to be honored along with many AAAA and AAAAA schools. In addition to the chapter award, several members placed in the top 10 in their competitive event including John Lovvorn, third place, Future Business Leader; Jessica Spradlin, fourth place, FBLA Principles and Procedures; Lauren Harrison, fifth place, FBLA Principles and Procedures; Amber Jordan and Lindsey Guin, fifth place, Community Service Project; Rob Lovvorn, ninth place, Business Math; and Tyson Gilland, tenth place, Economics.
W-W FBLA members were also recognized for receiving National Business Achievement Awards-Future Level including Alexis Cantey, Cayla Gilland, Courtney Gunter, Graham Wolfe, Keyonna Wynn, Kim Jenkins, Kiera Norman, Lauren Harrison, Lindsey Guin, Meghan Churning, Michael Edwards, Milton James, Rob Lovvorn, Shantrice Bradley, Tamika Craig, and Tazja Craig. Katie Haughey was recognized for receiving the National Business Achievement Award- Business Level and John Lovvorn was recognized for receiving the National Business Achievement Award - Leader Level.
