Experts advise on N. Alexander School
Georgia Director of Tourism Product Development Bruce Green (above) met with members of the North Alexander School Association (NASA), agency representatives, and local community leaders recently to strategize the redevelopment of the school project. Along with Jeannie Buttrum, Regional Tourism Representative, Georgia Department of Economic Development, Green presented a number of suggestions on use of the building that fitinto the historical structure of the building and thoughts of those present. In attendance were Bill Bennett Chairman of the NASA, Inc.; Debbie Wells, chairman of the Washington-Wilkes Arts Foundation; Jo Randall, President of the Washington Little Theater Company; Joyce Williams, Superintendent of Wilkes County schools; Mike Eskew, City Administrator, other city officials and interested persons.
