We had a nice day at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Sunday, with a good attendance for Sunday School and others coming for worship service. Rev. Martin preached a good Easter message and also sang a special song, "Three Rusty Nails." After a delicious meal the little children had a lot of fun hunting eggs. It was a joy to see them all dressed up in their Easter outfits..John Sutherland was guest of honor at a surprise birthday celebration at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Bradford in Washington Saturday evening. .Attending services at Clifford's Grove Sunday with Mrs. Juanita Bradford were Mr. and Mrs. Terry Bradford, Mr. and Mrs. John Sutherland and Brad Sutherland. .Mr. and Mrs. Ricky McCarty went to Jackson Sunday to attend services at Joshua's Place with his family. His mother and all of his brothers and sisters and their families came and they all gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Williamson for lunch. .Dianne Butler of Columbia spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer. She accompanied them to services at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church Sunday morning.

.Mrs. Earl George and Sally George of Asheville, N.C., visited Mrs. Iris Dyson Saturday afternoon. .Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Willard Lance Sunday were Elizabeth Barber, Chris Conway, James Lance, and Keeley Saringer.
