Laura Joann Baldwin to marry Wesley Neal Seabolt on May 10

Mr. and Mrs. Brian Keith Baldwin of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Joann, of Augusta, to Wesley Neal Seabolt, also of Augusta, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Seabolt, Jr. of Blairsville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe L. Charping of Washington and Mrs. Ernest J. Baldwin and the late Mr. Baldwin of Marietta.

She is a 2003 first honor graduate of Briarwood Academy in Warren County and has plans to graduate in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta where she is currently doing her clinical practicum in Labor and Delivery.

Mr. Seabolt is the grandson of Mrs. Jack Payne and the late Mr. Payne and Mrs. Roy Seabolt and the late Mr. Seabolt of Blairsville.

He is a 1995 graduate of Union County High School and a 2001 graduate of North Georgia College and State University in Dahlonega where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He is also a 2003 graduate of the University of Florida in Gainesville where he earned a Master of Science in Bioanalytical Chemistry. Mr. Seabolt has plans to graduate in May 2008 with a Medical Doctorate (M.D.) from the Medical College of Georgia and begin a psychiatry residency at the Medical College of Georgia in July 2008.

A family wedding is planned for Saturday, May 10, at 3:30 p.m. at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Mark Waters in Washington.
