Toastmasters Club to organize here, meeting set for Mon., April 14 Worried about your next speech or presentation? Toastmasters International can help. A local Toastmasters Club is being organized in Washington, and both men and women are invited to a demonstration meeting to be held in the meeting room of the Mary Willis Library on Monday, April 14, at 6 p.m. The Toastmasters program will improve your communication skills and open doors in your personal and professional life, according to organizer Kathryn Anderson. "You will develop better speaking and presentation skills, learn to think quickly and clearly on your feet, and build strong leadership abilities. Instead of laboring in an academic setting or spending money on costly seminars, you'll learn in a self-paced atmosphere of fun and fellowship," she said.
For more information, contact Anderson at 706-285-2478.
