Alfred's brings more finedining to The Square
Surrounded by dozens of friends, neighbors, Chamber of Commerce members, owner Jeanne Davis Blair cut the ribbon opening Alfred's on The Square Thursday evening. "We've been working toward this for a long time, but it's worth it," she said. Guests at the ribbon cutting were treated to a buffet dinner with a sampling of the restaurant's Southern cooking, and everything from the fried chicken to the cornbread was met with high praise.
