Lions host District Governor
Lions District Governor Kembra L. Smith (center) was the guest at a recent Washington Lions Club meeting, guest of Washington Lion Olin C. Newby and Washington Lion President Mary Hubbard. Smith, a staff attorney/career law clerk with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit in Atlanta, updated members on Lions Club programs and future events. Hubbard also thanked the community for their support for efforts such as the broom and mop sales and White Cane Day. "Lions Club members would like to express their thanks for all of the community support received through our fund raisers," Hubbard said.
